At Indigo Finery, every piece of jewellery is made with care and love, and we want you to adore your treasures for years to come.✨

But we also know that sometimes things don’t go quite as planned! Here’s everything you need to know about repairs, returns, and exchanges.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love your Indigo Finery jewellery. Returns, exchanges or store credit are available if you contact us within 7 days of delivery and the item is unworn, in original packaging, and in perfect condition. Return shipping is at your expense, and original courier fees or customs duties are non-refundable.

Items that cannot be returned or exchanged include, custom-made pieces, engagement rings, earrings, sale items, and stock pieces that have been altered.

Things to keep in mind:

What can’t be returned?

Some pieces are too special to be returned or exchanged, including: Custom-made pieces (designed just for you). Engagement rings (because each one is unique and crafted to order). Earrings (for hygiene reasons). Sale items (discounted or promotional pieces). Stock items that have been altered (e.g., resized or engraved). Chains/bracelets, due to their delicate nature.

Ring Resizing

Ordered the wrong size? Your first resize on solid 925 sterling silver rings is complimentary, provided the ring is unworn and you contact us promptly. Additional resizes, or resizes on Indigo gold pieces, are available at our standard rate. Some styles or stone settings may have limitations, but we’ll guide you through what’s possible.

Repairs & Defects

We stand by the quality of our craftsmanship, so if something isn’t quite right due to a manufacturing defect, we’ll repair or replace it free of charge.

Here’s what to do:

Email us at hi@indigofinery.co.za within 7 days of delivery with a description and photos.
Return the item within 15 days, in its original packaging.

If the issue isn’t a manufacturing fault, but just a bit of accidental damage, don’t worry! We’re happy to repair it, and we’ll send you a quote based on the work needed.

Life happens, jewellery can snag, tumble, or meet a curious kitten. If your piece breaks due to a manufacturing fault within one month, we’ll repair it free of charge.

As long as you let me know about the fault within the first 3-7 days of delivery. Here’s what to do: Email us at hi@indigofinery.co.za within 7 days of delivery with a description and photos. Return the item within 15 days, in its original packaging.

For damage outside that window or due to wear, repairs are quoted based on time and materials before any work begins.

Chains are delicate and not designed for tugging, rough wear, or sleeping in. Breakages aren’t considered faults and cannot be refunded or returned, but we’re happy to provide a repair or replacement quote. Just send a photo. Some components may not be repairable; we’ll guide you through the best options.

We cannot take responsibility for lost items, lost stones, or damage caused by normal wear, but we’ll always help where we can.

Courier costs are your responsibility.

Custom Jewellery & Engagement Rings

Bespoke pieces are one-of-a-kind treasures - crafted just for you. Because of this, custom pieces cannot be refunded or exchanged.

If you’d like adjustments (resizing, tweaks, etc.), we can happily assist at our standard manufacturing rate.
