Shipping, Returns & Repairs Policy

At Indigo Finery, every piece is made to order - thoughtfully crafted and finished by hand, with love and attention to detail. Whether it's a dainty pendant or a sparkling engagement ring, we want you to be completely in love with your jewellery. Here’s everything you need to know about shipping, resizing, and what to do if something’s not quite right.


SHIPPING

Because each piece is made especially for you, please allow 7 to 28 working days for your order to be processed, crafted, and finished before dispatch.

Once your jewellery is complete and carefully packaged, we’ll email you a tracking number, so you can follow its journey right to your doorstep. ✨

Courier delivery times (after dispatch):

  • Cape Town: Same or next working day (excluding weekends)

  • National city centres: 1–2 working days
    (Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth [Gqeberha], East London, Polokwane, Nelspruit, Kimberley, George)

  • Regional areas, small towns, farms, rural locations: 3–5 working days

✨ Please note: These timelines are based on courier estimates. Once your parcel is with the courier, it’s out of our hands - but we’re always happy to assist if anything seems delayed.


✉️ IMPORTANT SHIPPING NOTES

  • Courier fees are non-refundable.

  • If your piece needs to be returned or resized, all courier costs (to and from Indigo Finery) are the responsibility of the client.

  • We currently only courier within South Africa.


RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We offer one complimentary resizing on all solid 925 sterling silver Indigo Finery rings. Your ring must be in its original, unworn condition, and you should contact us as soon as possible after delivery. You’ll only need to cover courier costs to and from the studio.

To qualify:

  • The ring must be in original, unworn condition
  • You must contact us as soon as possible after delivery

Think of it as a short retreat for your ring – a visit back to where it was first imagined, before returning home perfectly poised for the next chapter of your story.

Additional resizes beyond the first are available at our standard rate.


REPAIRS & FAULTS

We’re proud of our quality and careful finishing - but if your piece has a manufacturing defect, we’ll happily repair or replace it free of charge.

To report an issue:

  1. Email hi@indigofinery.co.za within 7 days of delivery with a short description and clear photos.

  2. Return the piece within 15 days, in its original packaging.

If the damage isn’t due to a manufacturing fault (e.g., accidental wear and tear), we’ll still do our best to help. We’ll assess the piece and send you a repair quote based on the work required. Courier costs will be at your expense.

Chains are delicate by nature and not designed for rough wear, tugging, or sleeping in. Because of this, breakages aren’t considered manufacturing faults and cannot be repaired, refunded, returned, or replaced for free. If a chain does break, I’m always happy to provide a quote for repair or replacement. Just send a photo, and I’ll guide you through the process.


CUSTOM & BESPOKE PIECES

Custom jewellery and bespoke engagement rings are crafted just for you - designed with your story in mind. Because of their personalised nature, these pieces are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
